Whilst not as important as they once were for Search Engine Optimization the description Meta tag is commonly by search engines to provide a preview snippet about what the page is about. We recommend that you do utilise the description meta tag for each page within your website.
  • It appears that the server hosting the website is not utilizing GZIP compression when serving pages. Enabling compression on your server will save both time and bandwidth - we recommend enabling compression on your server.
  • There are a number of pages where images are being displayed without the associated width and height attributes. Where an image height and width are not specified the browser is unaware of the image size and cannot reserve the appropriate space for it. The end result is as the page loads the actual layout will change whilst the images load. We recommend that you specify the height and width attributes for each image.
  • There are a number of pages that do not appear to support print styling. This means that when a user prints a page there is a high chance that the page will print incorrectly and be un-readable.
